Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of BudgetHawk and any coaching services provided by Abraham Cuenca. By booking a session or engaging with BudgetHawk in any capacity, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

BudgetHawk offers personal finance coaching, including budget design, debt payoff planning, and weekly accountability. Services are provided on a one-on-one basis via video call or written communication.

Coaching sessions are scheduled through Calendly. Session details, including duration and scope, are confirmed at the time of booking.

2. Not Financial Advice

I am not a licensed financial advisor, investment advisor, or attorney. Nothing I provide constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Coaching reflects my personal experience and knowledge, not professional licensure.

You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make. I strongly encourage you to consult licensed professionals for investment decisions, tax planning, and legal matters.

3. Payment

Payment is required before each session or at the time of package purchase. All prices are listed in US dollars. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at checkout.

Prices are subject to change. Any price change will not affect sessions already paid for.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule a session at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session forfeit that session's fee.

For coaching packages, refunds are available for unused sessions, minus a 10% processing fee, if requested within 30 days of purchase. No refunds are issued after 30 days or once all sessions are used.

5. Your Responsibilities

Coaching works when you show up and do the work. I expect you to:

  • Arrive on time for scheduled sessions.
  • Complete any agreed-upon homework or exercises between sessions.
  • Provide accurate financial information so I can give you useful guidance.
  • Communicate openly if something isn't working.

I reserve the right to end a coaching relationship if interactions become disrespectful or abusive.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials I share, including worksheets, templates, and written plans, are for your personal use only. You may not resell, distribute, or publish them without my written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BudgetHawk's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of coaching services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session or package in question.

BudgetHawk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including financial losses resulting from decisions you make based on coaching conversations.

8. Changes to These Terms

I may update these terms from time to time. If I make material changes, I'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of BudgetHawk services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
